According to the Farmers Almanac, this moon is "known as the Wolf Moon because wolves were more likely to be heard howling at this time. It was traditionally believed that wolves howled due to hunger during winter, but we know today that wolves howl for different reasons. Howling and other wolf vocalizations are generally used to define territory, locate pack members, reinforce social bonds, and coordinate hunting."
In honor of this magical creature, I've hand-sawn a wolf, on the back of this piece, howling at the moon

CLEAN & CARE
Also, it's natural for these pieces to naturally patina over time which will cause the metal to look dull or slightly change in color. For most, but not all pieces, you can simply use a polishing cloth on the metal to shine them back up to their original state.
